The interface

A tour of the studio, so you know where things live before you need them.

The top bar

Along the very top: new, open and save for projects, undo and redo, the scene name, then Import, AI Model and Export.

The ribbon

Underneath, grouped left to right:

GroupWhat’s in it
Boolean Union, Subtract, Intersect, Punch and Cut — combining and cutting solids
Transform Move, Rotate and Scale, plus the selection tools
Align Align objects to each other on X, Y or Z, by bounds or pivot
Snap Snap to Grid, Edge, Face or Vertex
Viewport Perspective, Top, Front, Left and a four-up Quad layout
Shading Shaded, Wire and Edged, plus the render style and lighting controls

The Boolean group sits first deliberately — combining primitives is the fastest way to get a real shape in this app.

Scene Explorer (left)

Every object in the scene, searchable and filterable. Select here or in the viewport — they stay in sync. The buttons underneath add, duplicate and delete objects.

The command panel (right)

Three tabs, and this is where most of your time goes:

  • Create — Standard Primitives (Box, Plane, Sphere, Cylinder), plus shapes, lights and cameras. Pick one, then drag on the ground plane to place it.
  • Modify — the modifier stack for the selected object, and the sub-object editing tools.
  • Display — how the selection is drawn in the viewport.

The viewport

The label in the top-left corner names the current view. The floating cluster at the bottom-right holds zoom, frame, and orbit controls, with the field of view below it.

By default the studio opens in Realistic shading with the Neutral Studio environment drawn behind your model, so what you see is close to what you will export.

The status bar

Along the bottom: the current tool or operation, how many objects are selected, the undo history, and a reminder of the main shortcuts. Watch it when an operation does not behave as expected — it usually says why.

Panels like the Material Editor, Light Explorer, Environment and Export Center open in floating windows you can move and close. Press M for the Material Editor.
