These terms cover your use of the Lacoura website and apps. By using them you agree to what follows.
What Lacoura is
Lacoura builds creative applications that run in a web browser. Lacoura 3D is a 3D modelling studio; Lacoura Video is a nonlinear video editor. Both are currently in early access and free to use.
Early access — please read this one
Early access means the apps are incomplete and under active development. Features may change or be removed, bugs exist, and behaviour may change between visits. Keep your own backups of anything you care about. Do not rely on Lacoura as the only copy of important work.
Your account
You need to give us an email address, or sign in with Google, to use the apps. Give us an address you actually control, and do not share your access with others. We may suspend access that is being abused.
Your work
Anything you create with Lacoura belongs to you. We claim no ownership of your models, footage, edits or exports. The apps run in your browser and your project files are saved to your own computer — we do not receive, store, or look at your work.
Acceptable use
Do not use Lacoura to:
- break the law, or infringe anyone else’s rights;
- attack, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems;
- resell or redistribute the apps as though they were yours.
Our software
The apps, the site, and the Lacoura name and branding remain ours. Using Lacoura does not transfer any of that to you.
No warranty
Lacoura is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. Given that it is free early-access software, our liability for any loss arising from your use of it is limited to the fullest extent the law allows.
Changes and availability
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of Lacoura. If we are shutting something down that people depend on, we will give reasonable notice by email.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and we will tell you by email if a change is significant.
