Japanese food at the pace of the day

Miyuki is fast-casual Japanese: a sushi counter and a small hot kitchen under one sign, open for lunch, dinner and late-night eats, every day.

Sit at the counter at noon. Share a table at eight. Take a bag home at ten.

Fast, never rushed

Fast-casual means you can be in and out in half an hour, or stay for the evening. What does not change is how the food is made.

Rice seasoned through the day. Fish cut when you order. Rolls rolled in front of you, gyoza out of the pan, tea on the table before you have asked. Then the same food packed in a kraft bag for anyone who would rather eat at home.

What we hold to

Four things, at both restaurants, at every hour we are open.

  • Made when you order

Nothing is rolled ahead and left in a fridge, at the table or for takeaway.

  • Rice first

Short-grain rice, seasoned with vinegar, sugar and salt, kept soft and close to body temperature.

  • A short hot kitchen

Gyoza, karaage, tempura and rice bowls for anyone who wants something cooked, and for the table to share.

  • Open every day

Lunch from 11, dinner from 5, last orders at 10:45. Same hours at both restaurants.
