Two new blends, one origin

Bahir and Midnight Noir are the same Ethiopian coffee at two ends of the roast. Here is why we did that.

Most roasters pick one roast for a coffee and move on. We bought two lots from Sidama this year that were so good we wanted to show what the roast does to them, so we made the decision twice.

Bahir stops at medium: blueberry, honey, a bergamot finish. Midnight Noir keeps going until the fruit turns to molasses and the finish turns to smoke. Same farms, same harvest, two coffees.

Taste them side by side at the Roastery on Saturday mornings. Bring an opinion.

Letters from the roastery

Coffee is always a good idea.

A note when a new coffee lands or the cafés change the menu, and not much else.
