Privacy Policy
Last updated 9 October 2026
This policy explains what lacoura.com collects and what we do with it. It describes what the site actually does, rather than every hypothetical.
What we collect
- What you send us. When you use the contact form: your name, email address, company, project type and message. When you email us: your message and address.
- Server records. Like most websites, our host automatically logs IP addresses, browser type and the pages requested.
That is all. There are no accounts, no newsletter sign-up and no advertising on this site.
What we do with it
We use what you send us to reply to you, to talk about your project and, if we work together, to run it. We don’t sell, rent or share your details with advertisers, and we won’t add you to a mailing list.
Where it goes
Contact form messages are emailed to us, and a copy is kept in the website’s admin, which only we can see. A few services help run the site:
- Amazon Web Services hosts the site.
- Brevo delivers the site’s email.
- ImprovMX forwards mail sent to our @lacoura.com addresses.
- Google provides the mailbox those messages arrive in.
Cookies
We don’t use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The software that runs the site may set a few technical cookies it needs to work, for example when we sign in to manage it.
How long we keep it
We keep an enquiry while it is useful: while we are talking or working together, and for a reasonable time after, including the business and tax records we have to keep when we have worked together. Ask, and we will delete what we don’t have to keep.
Your choices
You can ask to see what we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it. Email hello@lacoura.com and we will do it.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top.
