Privacy Policy
Last updated 30 August 2026
This policy describes what Lacoura collects, why, and what we do with it. It is written to describe what the site and apps actually do, rather than to cover every hypothetical.
What we collect
When you request access to a Lacoura app, we collect:
- Your email address, which you type into the signup form.
- If you choose to sign in with Google, the name, email address and profile picture on your Google account. We do not request access to your Gmail, Drive, contacts, or anything else in your Google account, and we could not read them if we wanted to.
- Standard web-server records — IP address, browser type, and the pages requested — which our host writes automatically.
What we do with it
- Give you access to the apps.
- Email you about Lacoura — new apps, significant changes, and occasional updates.
That is the whole list. We do not sell your address, rent it, or share it with advertisers.
Your work stays yours
Lacoura 3D and Lacoura Video run in your browser. The models and video projects you create are processed on your own machine, and we do not upload, store, or look at them. When you save a project you are saving a file to your own computer.
Who else touches your data
We use a small number of services to run the site:
- Brevo — sends our email.
- ImprovMX — forwards mail sent to our own addresses.
- Amazon Web Services — hosts the site and serves the apps.
- Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google.
Cookies and local storage
We store a small flag in your browser’s local storage to remember that you already have access, so you are not asked to sign up twice. WordPress, which runs this site, sets its own cookies if you log in to it. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking pixels.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address until you ask us to delete it, or until Lacoura stops operating.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it — including removing your address entirely. Email hello@lacoura.com and we will do it. Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe.
Children
Lacoura is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you by email.
