Begin your tea journey with Zen Tea

Whole leaf, whole fruit, whole flowers. Nothing in a carton that we could not show you in a bowl, and nothing added to make it taste of more than it is.

Each tea comes from one garden we know by name, bought the same season every year at a price the garden sets. The relationship is the quality control.

Four teas, each one ten minutes you give back to yourself. The carton tells you how, the colour tells you which, and the rest is up to you.

Herbal teas are not tea at all: no leaf from the tea plant, no caffeine. Ours are built from fruit and flowers, dried and blended so they taste of the orchard rather than of sugar.

What Zen Tea drinkers are saying
The peach blossom is the first herbal tea I have actually finished a box of. It tastes like fruit, not like a candle.

I steeped the oolong five times like the carton said and the fourth one was the best. I did not know tea did that.

A proper Earl Grey. Real bergamot, strong leaf, and it stands up to milk, which most of the fancy ones do not.

The cartons sold me, the jasmine kept me. Sweet without sugar. I drink it at my desk all afternoon.

Bought the discovery box as a gift and kept it. Sorry, Mum.

Cold brew jasmine in a jug in the fridge has replaced every soft drink in this house.

Four gardens, bought by name
Each tea in the range comes from one garden we visit and buy from every season: Shandong for the peach, Fuding for the silver needle, Dimbula for the black leaf and Alishan for the oolong.

Zen Tea is guided by a simple idea: a cup of tea is ten minutes that nobody else can have. We choose the four teas worth giving those minutes to, buy them from the gardens that grow them best, and put them in a carton that says only what you need to know.
