Why the top half is ivory on every box, and only the bottom half changes.
A range should read as one thing from across a shop and as four things in the hand. The ivory upper half is the same on every carton: the circle, the dots, the speckle. The lower half is the colour of the tea, with the name and nothing else.
The colours are not arbitrary. Peach is the blossom. Tea Olive is the leaf. Earl Grey is the cup. Oolong is the roast.
Ten pieces to a box, because ten is enough to know.
