Why only four teas
Most tea companies sell forty. We sell four. Here is the thinking.
A shelf of forty teas is a shelf of decisions, and most people make the same one every time. We asked which four cups a person actually drinks in a week and built the range around that: a herbal for the evening, a white for the afternoon, a black for the morning and an oolong for the weekend.
Four means we can buy each one from a single garden, visit it, and put the garden's name on the carton. Forty would mean a broker.
If a fifth tea ever earns its place, it will be a green. We are tasting.
