A glass jug of whole milk beside a dish of loose-leaf tea in window light

作り方

Whole milk.
Organic tea.

An artisan milk tea comes down to choosing well: the tea, the one botanical that suits it, and milk with enough body to carry both.

The tea leads.

Every bottle starts with organic tea: jasmine, Earl Grey, black tea or Jade Fire. Everything else in the bottle is chosen to follow it, never to cover it.

One botanical each.

Lemongrass, vanilla, holy basil, juniper. Enough to make the tea a season, not so much that you lose the tea.

Whole milk, cold.

Whole milk gives the tea its body, which is why the label says whole milk tea, and why it lives in the fridge.

Seasons is an artisan line, made in small batches rather than at scale.

A small bottle, on purpose.

100 ml: a few cold sips, for the walk back to work or the end of lunch. Small enough to finish while it is still cold.
